According to L´equipe, Augustin Sidy Diallo, president of the Ivorian Football Federation, died on Saturday after having tested positive for Covid-19.
At the age of 61, the president of the Ivorian Football Federation since 2011, after having tested positive for the coronavirus, he was initially not showing any symptoms that would concern him, therefore, his health status worsened with respiratory complications he was taken to the hospital, where he died.
Augustin Sidy Diallo, was absent in the last two Ivorian matches, qualifying for CAN 2022 in Cameroon.
