Nelson Wilson Daniel is accused of illegal acts as Cacolo’s municipal administrator, from 2016 to 2019
The secretary-general of the Government of the Province of Lunda-Sul, Nelson Wilson Daniel, was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Service (SIC), indicted for crimes of embezzlement.
Nelson Wilson Daniel, who has been in preventive detention since Friday, according to Jornal de Angola, is also accused of crimes of abuse of power, influence peddling, violation of the rules of execution of the budget plan, money laundering, among others.
The Attorney General of the Republic in Lunda-Sul, Liliana Camuamba, explained that Nelson Wilson Daniel allegedly practiced the crimes in the exercise of the functions of the municipal administrator of Cacolo, from 2016 to 2019.
